DO NOT use debt consolidation companies! They will mess you up even more.
If you have 2 credit cards apply for a new credit card and do balances transfer from 2 old cards to the new one. The new card usually has 0% introductory rate, so this way you’ll save money on the interest for at least 6 months or so. As soon as you transfer balances, close the old cards. There you go, now you have 1 card with low or no interest rate from 6 to 12 months.
